ECO-Aqualizer^TM purposely utilizes only a specific "negative ionic polarity" which has a detrimental affect on the reproduction of green algae spores.  This pole specific polarity of the ECO-Aqualizer^TM applies only negative influences which causes division of cellular algae membranes to be problematic.  Since the cell walls of algae spores are also of a negative charge nature, the end result of the ECO-Aqualizer^TM is the starvation of the algae cell nuclei during Mitosis.  

Simply put, Algae becomes unable to divide... which translates into a drastic decrease in the reproduction of algae forms.

ECO-Aqualizer's secondary function is to help eliminate excess Nutrient accumulation.  By eliminating excess nutrients, you have in essence, eliminated the major food source that algae requires for growth.

Excess Nutrients are eliminated through Oxidation.  ECO-Aqualizer^TM provides continuous streams of ionization which repeatedly reduce the ionic bond of H2O molecules.  This triggers an abundance of "excited electrons" which solely represent the major component needed for all biological oxidation.  Therefore, ECO-Aqualizer's constant streams of ionization allow for a much greater break-down of organic compounds and immediate oxidation of nutrients.
